Description

This Workshop enables students to write and test several typical PL/I Programs.

It consolidates the knowledge gained on the PL/I programming course.

Designed For:

• Trainee Programmers.
• Application Programmers

Pre-requisites:

• Basic PL/I Programming knowledge
• Program Edit and submission knowledge.

Objectives:

Upon successful completion of the course the student should be able to:

• Write and test typical PL/I programs with minimum supervision.

Contents:

• Program Development
• Standard solutions to typical problems
• PL/I Coding to standards and time limits
• Batch updates, validation and print programs
• Walk throughs
• Testing and Debugging

Duration:

3 - 10 Days depending on student's experience in programming and practicals required.
