Basic Focus Reporting

This course introduces the basic reporting facilities available through FOCUS

Designed For:

IS staff and end-users requiring a working knowledge of FOCUS reporting facilities.

Pre-requisites:

Objectives:

• Upon successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
• Code a simple master file description
• Use FOCUS to produce reports including selecting specific data, subtotalling, report and page formatting
• Define temporary fields
• Compute new values
• Extract HOLD files
• Run Focus in Batch

• Summary lines

• Batch processing

Duration:

2 - 3 Days depending on student's experience in programming,course content and practicals required.
